Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of the Protocol website at www.protocol-lab.co and Protocol Lab at app.protocol-lab.co (together, the "Services"), operated by Protocol in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.
1. The Services
The website gives information about Protocol, our brand activation services and upcoming events. Protocol Lab is a private workspace for managing brand and partner relationships, outreach emails, events and budgets. Access to Protocol Lab is limited to our team and people we invite.
2. Accounts
If you have a Protocol Lab account, keep your login details private and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
3. Connecting Google and sending email
- When you connect a Google account, you allow Protocol Lab to send emails from that account and to show replies, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Protocol Lab only sends emails that you review and confirm. You are responsible for the content of the emails you approve.
- You agree to follow anti-spam laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL): send only relevant business messages, identify Protocol as the sender, and honour every request to stop.
- You can disconnect your Google account at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Services for anything illegal, misleading or harmful;
- send spam, harassing messages or messages to people who asked not to be contacted;
- try to access accounts or data you are not allowed to access, or disrupt the Services;
- copy, resell or reverse engineer Protocol Lab.
5. Brand activations and events
Brand activation work is governed by a separate written proposal and contract between Protocol and the client. Pricing, payment schedules, deliverables and cancellations are set out in that contract. Information on the website, including results from past events, describes what happened before and is not a promise of future results.
6. Our content
The website and Protocol Lab, including text, design, logos and the Protocol name, belong to Protocol. Content you add to Protocol Lab stays yours or your organization's; you give us permission to store and process it to run the Services.
7. No warranty
We work hard to keep the Services available and accurate, but they are provided "as is" without guarantees that they will always be available, error-free or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent the law allows.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Protocol is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data, arising from use of the Services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
9. Ending access
We can suspend or end access to Protocol Lab if these terms are broken or if we stop offering it. You can stop using the Services at any time and ask us to delete your account.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
11. Changes
If we change these terms, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
